NEO002 // HUMANTRONIC
KISS OF THE FLOWERMAN EP
He’s from Marseille, in the sunny south of france, but after millions of live- and DJ-sets in more northern regions his music is somewhat influenced by a certain anglo-german dancefloor-strictness: here comes HUMANTRONIC, aka Fred Flower, with his first 12“ on NEOPREN.
For this records he brewed some francophilic and elegantly tumbling minitec, straight and synthetically bubbling. His many stays in Berlin have certainly left some minimal staccato traces, too, but they are quite discrete here.
HUMANTRONIC’s tracks are as fluid and as granulous as they have to be, fort he pleasure of the DJ and the joy of the dancing crowd. You can hear that HUMANTRONIC has spent more time behind the turntables than Spock in outer space… and you can feel the berserk that HUMANTRONIC, the calm and polite guy from the south, becomes once he’s on a stage. This is a record like a kiss: it’s french, it’s hot and it goes boom in your head and boom on the floor!!
